I am proud to have the following therapists helping clients for Betterment of Mind

Lydia.jpeg

Lydia Burgess, LPC

Lydia is passionate about helping clients ease their emotional burdens and help them become more resilient. Her goal is to empower clients to make positive changes in their lives, by identifying negative or unhelpful thought and behavior patterns and replacing them with more constructive ones.

Lydia aims to help clients improve relationships, express emotions more constructively, and feel more satisfied with life. Change can be difficult and is often gradual; Lydia helps clients identify resources they need to change, barriers to change, and triggers that lead to the old behavior.

Lydia has been a Licensed Professional Counselor for 11 years. She specializes in anxiety, depression, addiction, dual diagnosis, self-esteem, and family conflict. The types of therapy Lydia utilizes are cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral, person-centered, solution-focused brief, strength-based, and psychodynamic. She works with children, adolescents, and adults.
